To own a domain, www.yourname.com, the cost is only $35 a year, $55 for 2 years or $75 for 3 years. Domain name registration fees are much less for our clients than Network Solutions! Rainbow Graphics can arrange for your domain registration, processed in your name, so you are the owner, at no additional charge.

Domain Name Registration and Domain Parking Services are always FREE here at Rainbow Graphics as long as we are to host that domain name. Get your domain name now before its gone! Please contact us with the domain in which you would like registered, and we'll take care of the rest. Also when you host, to do quick changes, like a price change(s) or text changes, its done on the house!!!

To Maintain/Host Your Domain

To maintain and host a domain, your cost will depend on what you need. We offer secondary domains for $50.00 a year, starter packages for as little as $10.00 a month. We also offer packages for those who will require more megabytes to host their site along with those who may need a shopping cart and/or a secure server. Costs for these packages is $50 set-up (one time) and $15 - $25 a month flat fee - this is for those who do not need a secure server or shopping cart. For those who do - its only $30 a month, for more space is required to run a storefront!

We do not charge for bandwidth or transfer fees (where the owner of the domain pays for each person who visits their domain) as most companies do. We think this is wrong! You should have as many people as you want to visit your website, and with our knowledge of getting web sites on top in search engines, you will be visited often and from around the world! Our monthly fee is a flat rate that includes almost everything: a Web Trends Analyzer that can track who, when and where your visitors came from; counters; guestbooks; CGI scripts; shopping carts; secure credit card transactions; online reservation forms; order forms; emails; unlimited email aliases; video; audio; virtual tours; animations; and more. Your domain will also be provided with an IP number, password, and username.

Web Designing

Design fees are $45 an hour. A web page averages an hour per page printed online (including the layout and writing of the language, images scanned, graphics, etc.). However, web design time varies per individual site, and depends on how much information is on those pages, the number of images, the amount of text, etc.. The home page (first page) generally takes longer due to the fact that it is the first page people see and is the primary page to which all the other pages are linked. To save time and money, let us know how you would like your website to look. And sending the text on disk or email will save us from typing, which will save you money. We do what we can to keep costs down! We also can add Audio/Video to your website. Please take a look at our samples. A 4 page basic web site can cost as little as $200.00. It will all depends on the design. All Adirondack Park residents will receive discounts.

Search Engines - Linking Your Web Site

Rainbow Graphics has the knack of placing web pages on top in search engines by using your keywords. Take a look at the keyword "Adirondacks" You will find many of our clients on top in Google, MSN, AOL, Excite, Yahoo, etc.. Or "Adirondack Wreaths", "Adirondack Waterfront", again our clients who are in the Adirondack Mountains are on top. We have many references we can give you of clients who do very well online. We have worked hard learning the ways of the search engines so that our clients see their pages on top instead of many pages behind, where they cannot be found. Very few know how to do what we do. We know how to make the web pages work for you!

We also do extensive advertising for our clients as well as linking pages to search engines in order to bring pages to the top of searches. We offer a URL linking services that will place your web site around the world by linking your URL address to major search engines. This is so many people can find your homepage using your particular keyword. There are thousands of search engines; the more you link to, the more people will find your pages.

What we do is create webpages that emphasize the keywords relating to your business. Specific keyword phrases. We make the keywords stand out by using specific tags, such as meta tags, titles, alt tags, and tail tags. There are many ways to do this so search engines place you on their top pages. Now each search engine works differently and takes web pages a certain way. What works for one search engine would NOT work for the others. We do not just link a website; what we do is link you to get the best exposure you could possible get - on top!!!

We offer several linking packages that includes our tricks of the trade mentioned above, plus submitted links to thousands of search engines, worldwide. Our basic setup cost $200; $100 to research your competitors and setup the "tricks of the trade", the other $100 is for us to link your site to the search engines. Once we do our part, you will receive many emails notifying you that your website has been submitted.

Making Changes to a Web Site

Changes to a web site can be made anytime and can be loaded online quickly. The cost to add changes depends on how much there is to do. Usually quick changes are on the house for we believe they are a part of the maintenance cost. Many other companies do not see it this way.

PERSONAL DOMAIN PACKAGE

Between $10 - $30.00* US per month (Depends on size of site) and a one time setup fee of $50.00US, you receive:

One Time Set-Up Charge = $50.00
Monthly Cost = $10 - $30.00 a month (depends on size of site and if a secure server & a shopping cart is required)

Prices include setup of the server, registration of domain name, and configuration.

DNS charges are included in the set-up charge. Domain name registration fees are much less than Network Solutions; $35 for the 1st year or $55 for 2 years, $75 for 3 years.
